We're partnered with a seed-funded, regulated AI legal tech startup as they build out their Founding Engineering team. They're months from launch and building something with genuine category-defining ambition. Regulation is being finalised, the product is near-launch ready, and they're now looking for company hire #4 and their first Senior/Lead Software Engineer to own the technical architecture of a product that will handle millions of pounds in client funds.
The systems challenge is significant: multiple integrations across telephony, email infrastructure, client portals, and AI agents, all needing to be rock solid from day one. Backed by a team and experienced Founders with multiple exits between them, the ambition is to build a long-term category winner.
An experienced operator, you've seen software built in the right way and enjoy getting your hands dirty building out 0-1 products. You've demonstrated mastery of building AI harnesses and Agentic workflows for your coding and are likely managing an agentic team.
Experience building customer facing applications. Happy contributing across the full stack with experience in Python, TypeScript (Next.js) and ReactJS.
