An exciting opportunity has become available for a Head of Academy Coaching at a pivotal time of transition and change for Burnley Football Club.

THE PERSON

Are you a friendly and positive individual with excellent interpersonal skills? You may be our next Head of Academy Coaching!

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a Category 1 or 2 programme and experience of leading a high-performance environment. You will also need to have a flexible approach to work and be able to work evenings and weekends.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

As the Head of Academy Coaching, you will be expected to:

  • Work in conjunction with Academy MDT staff to ensure that the Burnley FC Academy Performance Plan strategy is efficiently and effectively implemented.

  • Implement a club specific Coach Competency Framework (CCF) to monitor and evaluate coaches to establish development action plans (DAP) and group coach development opportunities (CPD).

  • Assist the coaching department with the delivery, appraisal and development of training sessions in line with the club’s coaching curriculum and game model.

Successful applicants will be subject to an Enhanced Criminal Record Check (DBS) which will be paid for by the employer.
