A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Sport and Exercise Psychologist to join us at Burnley Football Club. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Club’s ongoing development and helping us deliver a first-class experience for players, staff, and supporters.
About You
Are you passionate about football and looking for your next challenge in the game? The ideal candidate will have experience in psychological wellbeing, resilience, and performance of players. You will also need to have a flexible approach to work and be able to work evenings and weekends.
Role Expectations:
- Conduct individual and team level needs analysis
- Design and deliver curriculum of 1-1 and group sessions to support and inform players, teams, coaching and performance staff and systems
- Produce psychology focused coach development support plans, inform practice design through a sport psychology lens in conjunction with the coaching staff / head coach
