The role is a new and exciting opportunity for a BFC Women Lead Doctor & Academy Doctor at Burnley Football Club, supporting the club's development and delivering a first‑class experience for players, staff and supporters. You will work closely with the first team and academy medical teams.
About You
Are you passionate about football and looking for your next challenge? The ideal candidate will be GMC registered and be licensed to practice in the UK. You will also need a flexible approach to work and be able to work evenings and weekends.
Role Expectations
- Provide medical support including pitch‑side, clinic and appointments for Women’s First Team, reporting to the First Team Head of Medicine and First Team Doctor.
- Work closely with the respective physiotherapy leads in the diagnosis of injuries and illnesses for Women’s First Team and Men’s Academy.
- Develop and manage external referrals and communicate with multisport doctors and specialist consultants.
