Budweiser Brewing Group is a globally recognised brand. This is a tremendous opportunity to join their highly skilled engineering team as an apprentice. AB Inbev is looking for individuals passionate about engineering and eager to learn. Wage £15,704 for your first year, with potential increases depending on age and performance. This is aligned with the National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices. Most of your apprenticeship will be spent working on the job, gaining hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work:

  • Use different systems and processes to ensure facilities, layout, and machinery used to produce materials and goods operate efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure plant and equipment perform to standards to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets in high-value manufacturing environments.
  • Engage in activities including installation, testing, fault finding, and ongoing maintenance of automated equipment.
  • Apply skills across electrical, electronic, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems disciplines.
  • Interpret engineering data sources and supporting documentation.
  • Use lean techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment where appropriate.
  • Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs on high-technology systems.
  • Assist in maintenance of mechanical, fluid, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, and process control equipment.
  • Support preventative maintenance to minimise machinery downtime.
  • Ensure smooth handover of equipment and plant after testing.

Training: The apprenticeship includes time away from work for specialist training, including day-release and skills blocks at Burnley College, to gain professional knowledge and skills.

  • Essential qualifications: GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade D/3 or above).
  • Please inform us of any other relevant qualifications or industry experience, as this may be reflected in the apprenticeship structure.
