Overview

We are seeking a Lecturer in Engineering to teach effectively on a range of programmes, who will have up to date knowledge of the Engineering industry.

You will provide effective tutorial and pastoral support, maintain high quality records and provide timely information. You will thoroughly plan and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching alongside taking an active part in the Marketing operations of the College, including the recruitment and admissions of students to the Division.

The salary for this post is up to £39,101. The location for this role is on site delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Teach on a range of Engineering programmes and maintain up-to-date industry knowledge.
  • Provide tutorial and pastoral support to students and maintain high quality records and timely information.
  • Plan and evaluate teaching effectiveness and participate in College marketing, recruitment and admissions activities.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to level 3 or above in a relevant qualification.
  • Possess or be willing to work towards a recognised teaching qualification within a specified and agreed period (normally 2 years).
