Year 11 Applicants Only. Course runs for 4 weeks (5:30 - 7pm) on Tuesdays. Start Dates: 7th October 2025 and 13th January 2026.
This programme will introduce you to the fascinating world of business and make you workplace ready. You will explore the industry in detail, concentrating on aspects from multiple functional areas. You will enhance your knowledge, your skills and behaviours in preparation for study with us on our main vocational study packages.
You will study the following:
- Session 1: Brand You (Intro to programme/CV Building)
- Session 2: We are Lancashire (Exploring Business) and Finance
- Session 3: Marketing and Digital Marketing
- Session 4: Stand out From the Crowd (Recruitment)
Entry Requirements: There are no formal entry requirements for this taster programme. This programme is open to students in year 11 only.
After studying on this programme with us, you could look to develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours through further study across a range of vocational programmes designed to help you become 'workplace ready'. Learners progress from this taster course onto a range of courses across level 1, level 2, and level 3.
