Students broaden their experience of the French language and culture through a trip to France, visits to a Manchester cinema to see French films, and the weekly ‘le club français’ in College. Communicating in French is perfected thanks to a twinning project with a French lycée with whom students write and Skype. The department runs activities for local schools’ with whom we have a Mentor scheme.
