During this apprenticeship you will gain the knowledge and skills to become a qualified Painter and Decorator. You will complete practical training on various topics such as:
- Preparation of Surfaces
- Health and Safety (Working at Height)
- Application of Paint systems
- Application of various wallpapers
- Spraying Systems
Start Date: 01/08/2026
Entry Requirements: A minimum of two GCSEs at Grade 3 or above in Maths and English.
Assessment: Candidates will complete a 24 month training period, followed by an End Point Assessment (EPA). This will consist of:
- 10 hour Practical skills assessment
- Multiple Choice theory exam
- 45 minute interview/ professional discussion based on a Portfolio of Evidence
