The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

This is a temporarily funded post until 20.07.2027. The Private Rented Sector plays a valuable role in providing housing for residents of the borough and the Council wants to ensure that it offers good quality accommodation that is value for money. To help us achieve this we currently operate seven landlord licensing areas.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy and dedicated Private Sector Housing Team. We are a relatively large team delivering a wide range of services that integrate public and private sector partners, creating a bottom-up approach to supporting neighbourhoods offering real help where it is needed through the empty homes programme, an innovative home improvement agency, landlord enforcement, selective and HMO licensing, the Good Landlord and Agent Accreditation scheme and energy efficiency improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the landlord licensing team
  • Processing landlord licensing applications
  • Providing effective and professional customer service to stakeholders
  • Organising and maintaining paper and electronic filing systems and records
  • Educating and advising Landlords and Managing Agents through the Good Landlord and Agent Scheme
Qualifications
  • 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • Experience of working in an administrative section of an organisation and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences
  • The ability to work as part of a team and maintain accurate records
