The ideal candidate will lead the business development activities, drive sales, and play a key role in generating new business. They will also manage marketing and customer service activities.

Responsibilities

  1. Actively prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within the UK market, including existing customers.
  2. Develop business and regulatory plans for the UK market and achieve operational objectives.
  3. Identify opportunities from marketing leads, communicate with, and manage local business partners.
  4. Understand market information and report to headquarters in a timely manner.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to establish operational processes for the UK market.
  6. Build brand awareness of the company and its products in the UK.
  7. Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and offering solutions.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or sales in molecular pathology or IVD-related products.
  • BSc or MSc in Life & Science, Molecular Pathology, or Clinical Medicine; MBA or PhD is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of the local molecular pathology market; international and multicultural experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic and creative thinking with attention to detail and operational excellence.
  • Energetic, motivated to find new business opportunities quickly.
  • Familiar with selling imported products in Europe.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in German is an advantage.
