As a professional with expertise in therapy and counselling, you will support patients with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) and their relatives, partners, and carers. Your role will involve developing the counselling and psychotherapy service and providing essential mental health support on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one counselling and therapy sessions online via Zoom or telephone.
  • Develop and expand the counselling and psychotherapy service for CRPS patients, their families, partners, carers, and friends.
  • Participate in monthly group clinical supervision (1.5 hours per month).
  • Maintain client confidentiality, uphold data protection and equal opportunities principles.

Qualifications

  • Membership in one of the recognised organisations.
  • Diploma level qualifications as minimum; Degree, Masters, or equivalent in Counselling, Clinical Psychology, Psychotherapy, or Art Therapy (minimum 100 hours).
  • Proof of professional indemnity insurance (charity will provide up to a maximum amount).
  • Proof of professional body membership.
  • Valid DBS certificate (enhanced).
