This full-time, on-site role based in Greater London involves supporting fee-earners as a Caseworker / Paralegal / NQ Solicitor across a range of legal matters. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing client files
  • Conducting legal and factual research
  • Drafting correspondence and legal documents
  • Assisting with case preparation for hearings and meetings
  • Regular contact with clients, taking instructions, gathering evidence, and coordinating with third parties such as counsel, experts, and agencies
  • Maintaining accurate case records, monitoring deadlines, and ensuring compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements
  • Providing administrative support related to case management systems, billing, and document organization

Qualifications:

  • LLB, LPC/SQE, or equivalent legal experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities to engage effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in casework and case management, including organizing files, tracking deadlines, and handling multiple matters simultaneously
  • Excellent written skills for drafting clear, accurate documents and attention to detail in reviewing information and maintaining records
  • Ability to work on-site full time in Greater London, manage workload independently, and operate effectively within a team-based environment
  • Proficiency with common legal and office software, and a commitment to confidentiality, ethical practice, and continuous professional development
  • Experience with CE-File electronic filing and Upper Tribunal (UTIAC) proceedings, including submissions and electronic bundles

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing immigration matters including skilled worker visas, spouse/partner visas, leave to remain applications, and appeals
  • Assisting with family law matters including divorce, financial settlements, and children proceedings
  • Drafting legal correspondence, representations, witness statements, and Home Office submissions
  • Liaising with clients, barristers, courts, and the Home Office/UKVI
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case management records
  • Attending client meetings and supporting fee earners on complex matters
