We’re looking for a Senior Solicitor - Associate (3 - 5 PQE) to join our top-ranked Disputes & Regulatory Division in Edinburgh or Glasgow, to take on a unique role combining personal injury defence, with maritime and transport law and insurance coverage disputes.

The role will give you the opportunity to work on high-value, complex, cross-border disputes, including the chance to specialise in claims within the maritime industry. The personal injury defence element of the role does not involve high-volume, repetitive work but supporting corporate Scotland with its claims defence. It will also provide an excellent opportunity to support the growth of the Disputes & Regulatory practice generally, with fantastic scope for career development.

We’re looking for candidates with strong experience in personal injury defence. You should also have excellent interpersonal skills and strong business development acumen. The role will involve both autonomous working, together with supervision of more junior team members in connection with the preparation for, and conduct of, hearings in both the Court of Session and the Sheriff Courts and the provision of associated advice to clients.
