We are seeking an enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our clinical team, working 4–8 sessions in the historic market town of Hexham in the Tyne Valley.
Job responsibilities:
- Manage a clinically diverse caseload, delivering face‑to‑face and remote consultations and home visits.
- Share duty doctor sessions with the GP team, working alongside Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Paramedics.
- Perform daily administrative tasks including reviewing pathology results, clinical correspondence, and repeat prescription requests.
- Contribute to the practice’s performance in the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF), local enhanced services, and clinical audits.
- Fully utilise the EMIS clinical system for patient consultations, telephone advice, and recording clinical data.
- Undertake home visits and other general duties as required.
- Assess, prescribe, refer, treat, and advise patients as needed.
- Respond to clinical queries from the wider team and support the clinical team, including ANPs.
- Complete medical reports and examinations (e.g., DVLA) as required.
- Other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time.

- Full registration with the GMC.
- No restrictions on clinical practice.
