Location: Area to cover Flooring Contractors, A&D, Office Fit-Out clients and End Users for the geographical postcodes GU, KT, PO, RG, RH, SL, SM, SO, SW, TW, UB, & W.

Salary: Attractive salary + commission + bonuses led remuneration package + plus other excellent benefits

As a Business Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and building strong customer relationships in the business area. This role requires a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a proven track record in business-to-business sales. You will have experience of selling an interior specified product into the commercial office, education, residential, healthcare and retail sectors together with a successful sales background of achievement within architects, designers, end users, office fit out contractors and flooring contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the sales strategies and tactics to achieve or exceed sales targets within your assigned business area.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and lead generation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, architects, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders in the commercial construction industry.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to develop annual sales forecasts, budgets, and action plans for your business area.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth.
  • Present product offerings, value propositions, and technical information to customers, ensuring a deep understanding of our Burmatex products.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyse sales data, and provide regular reports to the Regional Sales Manager on achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights and make strategic recommendations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, logistics, design and customer service, to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote our brand, generate leads, and expand the company's market presence.
  • Continuously enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and understanding of customer needs through self-development and training opportunities.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility of this role.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in B2B sales
  • Strong business acumen with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust not only with customers but also with fellow members of the sales team.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and persuasive selling skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts effectively.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed
  • Experience using Lead Generation Tools
  • A valid driver's license.
