This is a key Business Partner role within Learning & Organisation Development (L&OD), responsible for shaping and delivering impactful learning, talent, and organisational development solutions. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to diagnose needs, design interventions, and deliver programmes that support leadership capability, workforce engagement, and organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with stakeholders to scope, design, and deliver L&OD interventions aligned to strategic priorities
- Lead on learning, talent, and organisational development programmes, from concept through to evaluation
- Identify organisational needs across areas such as:
- Leadership & management development
- Culture and engagement
- Talent and career development
- Wellbeing and performance
- Manage a small team (approx. 2–4 direct reports)
You will bring a strong mix of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery experience within L&OD or organisational development.
Essential experience:- Designing and delivering learning, talent, and OD strategies/programmes
- Managing projects and programmes end-to-end
- Evaluating impact and embedding sustainable change
- Stakeholder engagement, including influencing senior leaders
- Delivering blended learning solutions (face-to-face and digital)
- Using learning systems and data to generate insights and reports
- Experience within higher education or similarly complex organisations
- Professional qualification in L&D, HR, or OD (or equivalent experience)
- Experience commissioning external learning solutions and managing suppliers
- Strong consultancy and partnering approach
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to influence and challenge constructively
- Analytical mindset with focus on impact and continuous improvement
