Previous Higher Education working experience is a MUST HAVE!
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement Oracle database applications to support institutional needs, including student information systems, finance systems, and human resources systems.
- Perform database administration tasks such as backup, recovery, performance tuning, and monitoring to ensure optimal database performance and availability.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient data integration between Oracle databases and other institutional systems.
- Collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse system needs, and design solutions that enhance operational efficiency and data integrity.
- Proven experience with Oracle Database, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.
- Experience with Oracle APEX and Oracle E-Business Suite is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Knowledge of database design, data modelling, and normalization.
- Experience with ETL processes and tools (e.g., Oracle Data Integrator).
