About the Role

You will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and supporting core business applications — primarily focused on student or user information systems. You’ll work in a collaborative environment, helping to implement innovative solutions that improve business processes and enhance user experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developing and maintaining web-based enterprise software applications
  • Participating in system testing and process improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

Essential:
  • Experience in developing software for enterprise-level applications (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server)
  • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP (Oracle APEX experience a plus)
  • Ability to analyse complex systems and business processes
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • A degree in a relevant IT discipline or equivalent professional qualifications and experience
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and continuous professional development
Desirable:
  • Experience in public sector or education environments
  • Familiarity with rapid application development, web services (REST/SOAP), and data exchange formats (JSON, XML)
