As a key member of the Data, Platforms, and Integration Services team, the Cloud and Infrastructure Manager ensures alignment with the University's digital strategy, driving technological capabilities to support business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of Cloud and Infrastructure services, including cloud migration, disaster recovery, and platform security.
  • Implement Agile and DevOps practices to foster collaboration and responsiveness to evolving user needs.
  • Manage a diverse team, overseeing performance, service delivery, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness and service quality.
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders to influence decisions, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Oversee strategic planning and execution of major projects impacting the University.
  • Monitor, review, and enhance cloud and infrastructure services to ensure compliance with University policies and national standards.
  • Make independent operational decisions on resource allocation, expenditure, and team management.
  • Ensure adherence to University regulations, health and safety policies, and equality and diversity principles.
