A large, London-based organisation is seeking an experienced Special Projects Project Surveyor to deliver major remedial and latent defect works across a residential portfolio, with a strong focus on cladding and fire safety. This role requires strong building surveying, contract administration and project management expertise, alongside excellent stakeholder engagement skills. You will manage multiple complex projects from inception through to completion, ensuring compliance, quality, value for money and high levels of resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Project management of major remedial and latent defect works
- Leading cladding, fire safety and building regulation compliance projects
- Procuring and managing consultants and contractors
- Technical coordination and oversight of compliant, cost-effective solutions
- Stakeholder and resident engagement, including occasional evening meetings
- Managing programme, cost, risk and performance reporting
- Ensuring health & safety and statutory compliance throughout delivery
About You
- Strong background in Building Surveying / Project Surveying
- Proven experience delivering major works or remediation projects
- Excellent contract administration and procurement skills
- Confident managing consultants, contractors and complex stakeholders
- Customer-focused, commercially aware and technically strong
- Willing to attend occasional out-of-hours resident meetings
