Fire Safety Project Manager – Retrospective Fire Strategy

Overview:

A leading institution is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Fire Safety Specialist to oversee the development and implementation of retrospective fire strategies for key teaching and research buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

Project & Procurement Management

  • Develop and manage project plans, ensuring timely completion of fire strategies.
  • Oversee site access, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Lead a procurement exercise to appoint consultants for additional buildings.

Stakeholder & Risk Management

  • Act as the main liaison between Estates, Procurement, and consultants.
  • Conduct client review meetings and provide regular progress reports.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring smooth execution.

Deliverables & Compliance

  • Ensure submission of fire strategy reports, drawings, and safety recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualification in Project Management, Fire Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
