Finance Business Partner in Birmingham

Location: Birmingham (Hybrid working)\\n Contract: Permanent\\n Salary: £47,389 – £56,535\\n\\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to join the finance team at a UK university during a period of continued strategic development.\\n\\nThis role will work closely with senior academic and professional services colleagues, providing high-quality financial insight, challenge and support to Faculties and/or Professional Services areas. You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, helping to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the University.\\n\\nKey responsibilities include:\\n\\nActing as a trusted finance partner to Deans, Heads of School and senior stakeholders\\n\\nLeading budgeting, forecasting and medium-term financial planning for your areas\\n\\nProducing and interpreting management accounts and financial reports\\n\\nSupporting TRAC, FEC and research costing activity where required\\n\\nContributing to business cases, investment appraisals and strategic initiatives\\n\\nAbout you:\\n\\nQualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent) or qualified by experience\\n\\nExperience in management accounting or finance business partnering, ideally within the HE or public sector\\n\\nStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skills\\n\\nAble to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insight\\n\\nWhy join?\\n\\nYou'll be joining a collaborative, values-led organisation offering flexible working, an excellent pension scheme and the opportunity to make a real impact in a Higher Education environment
