Overview
We\’re looking for a skilled part-time developer to help us enhance and extend our AWS-based dashboard system. You\’ll be joining the team to tidy up our existing infrastructure and push forward new features and visualisations.
Tech Stack
Our system is built entirely on AWS and includes:
- Frontend: React with AWS Amplify
- Backend: Python-based AWS Lambda functions
- Storage: S3 Buckets
- Security: AWS Cognito
- Containers: EC2 / ECS (Elastic Container Service)
- Visualisation: Kibana and Power BI
Responsibilities
- Audit and refactor existing Python Lambda functions and S3 bucket usage
- Extend dashboard functionality with new data pipelines and visualisations
- Collaborate on frontend improvements in React Amplify
- Support containerised services via ECS
- Integrate and maintain visual dashboards in Kibana and Power BI
Requirements
- Proven experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, Cognito, ECS)
- Strong Python development skills
- Familiarity with React and Amplify
- Experience building dashboards with Kibana and Power BI
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Available part-time from mid-November/early December through June
