Burlington Media needs a creative, organised, and data-savvy marketing campaigns executive to promote our brands, our content and our clients. Our brands serve decision-makers in law firms in UK&I and beyond – Briefing serves large law firms, Legal Practice Management (LPM) serves the SME law firm community, Legal Support Network (LSN) serves the whole legal market, and Unicorn, our data service. The quality of our content and the calibre of our audiences are second to none, but we need a skilled B2B marketer looking to take the lead in crafting innovative campaigns to generate more engagement with our emails, more newsletter signups and more consumption of our content, while maximising the promotion of our sponsor clients’ content as well.
This is a hands-on role and we’re looking for someone with experience who’s happy writing and scheduling emails, managing social posts and running LinkedIn PPC campaigns. Duties and responsibilities in brief:
- Developing and carrying out integrated marketing campaigns across email, web and social channels, promoting content and events.
- Planning and project managing campaigns and activities using Monday.com and dovetailing your work with others in the business.
- Writing and editing compelling, accurate and grammatically correct marketing messaging and making sure that all communications demonstrate the defined value proposition for that particular brand/product.
- Collaborating with the content and events teams to generate bookings for our virtual and IRL events.
- Support the head of marketing with an audience engagement strategy to support the growth of our brands’ products, with the goals of expanding our subscriber lists and consumption of content and signups by prospect audiences.
- Support the community manager and head of marketing to help the team engage audiences in our online communities.
- Take an active interest in the work of our data team leader and other marketing team members to ensure data in our CRM is up to date.
- Agreeing campaign timelines with stakeholders internal and external, and ensuring campaigns and activities are carried out to project timelines.
- Developing and maintaining all relevant marketing and sales collateral to support marketing campaigns and defined commercial needs.
- Briefing comprehensive, accurate and creative designs to design workers, ensuring minimal amends and efficiency.
- Maintaining/uploading/creating any website content that relates to marketing.
- Maintain and build the media brands’ digital and social media channels and platforms.
- Support the head of marketing with managing digital advertising against our media brands across all platforms (email, web, app).
- Support the head of marketing with analytics - provide data-led feedback to the business and clients on all campaigns, projects and channels/platforms.
- Support the head of marketing with leveraging marketing automation to drive increasing engagement and success from email marketing, and analyse and improve content consumption and site traffic.
About you:
- At least 2 years of experience in B2B marketing, with a strong track record in delivering email and social media marketing campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a flair for crafting engaging content.
- You are proactive and can work in a fast-paced environment, but are able to stay focused and can handle multiple projects and deliverables at one time.
- Good understanding of lead generation and nurturing strategies.
- Proficiency with marketing automation tools (we use ActiveCampaign), CRM platforms (we use Salesforce), social media scheduling tools (we use Buffer) and website CMS (we use WordPress).
- Good understanding of LinkedIn’s tools for campaigns, events, and audience targeting.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse performance metrics and adapt strategies when needed.
