About the Role

We’re seeking a Sales Executive who will manage an existing client portfolio while actively developing new business opportunities. In this role, you’ll help our clients amplify their reach through effective content marketing, while also introducing them to the wider Burlington Media product suite.

Burlington Media Group Ltd is a dynamic independent B2B online media, e-magazine publishing, and events business. With a growing team of 15 we specialise in supporting the information needs of law firm operational teams, aiding them to make smarter, more informed management decisions
Our flagship channel, LegalSupportNetwork.co.uk (LSN), serves as a vibrant online hub and community resource showcasing supplier content for any professionals in law firm operations. Additionally, our two-decision maker only brands – Briefing and Legal Practice Management – deliver curated content designed specifically for leadership teams in UK law firms. Building on years of trusted relationships across the legal sector, we have also developed Unicorn, an interactive data service tailored to suppliers, enabling meaningful connections and driving successful marketing campaigns across the profession.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll take ownership of both client management and business development, ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include:
Client Management
· Building and maintaining strong relationships with networkpartners through calls, meetings, and email communication.
· Ensuring client content is uploaded and maintained to high standards, working closely with the delivery team.
· Managing the renewal process and identifying opportunities for upselling additional services, this may include some additional customer success work
· Partnering with the Customer Success team to deliver exceptional service and retain clients.
Sales and Business Development
· Proactively researching, identifying, and engaging new sales leads and prospects.
· Growing the database of supplier/vendor businesses and key contacts.
· Converting prospects into sales to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
· Expanding the network by recruiting new partners and renewing existing ones for LSN, Legal Practice Management and where possible referring on across the wider business.
· Look for upsell opportunities across our digital display and email channels, to drive further customer engagement
· Attending industry events and representing the company positively to build new relationships.
Marketing and Innovation
· Contributing to marketing campaigns, including emails, media packs, and other initiatives.
· Supporting the introduction of new services and features on LegalSupportNetwork.co.uk.
Operational Excellence
· Maintaining accurate sales activity records in Salesforce to ensure transparency and team collaboration.
· Collaborating with internal teams across customer success, marketing, sales, and content production.
What We’re Looking For
We value enthusiasm, drive, and a strong sense of ownership. The ideal candidate will bring:
· A proven track record in sales or client services, ideally within a B2B or media environment.
· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
· A proactive and organized approach to managing multiple responsibilities.
· Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms (preferred but not essential).
· A passion for marketing, content, and innovation.

Reporting Lines
This role reports directly to the Commercial Director and works closely with teams across sales, customer success, marketing, and content production.
