Requirements:

Our ideal candidate would possess outstanding team management skills, strong knowledge of HR practices, and good financial acumen. At least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position is required along with knowledge of rooms management and food and beverage operations.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading a team to achieve performance and operational targets. This is a small team, and therefore a hands-on approach to operations is essential.

Any offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory reference checking including consent to a DBS check.

Duties will include:

  1. Planning and implementing longer-term strategies to enhance business potential.
  2. Communicating regularly with the Company on business performance, highlighting potential risks and taking action accordingly.
  3. Ensuring control of all costs throughout each department, encouraging correct stock ordering and minimising waste.
  4. Managing, encouraging, and developing all employees to ensure they consistently achieve the highest hospitality standards.
  5. Ensuring adherence to Company Health and Safety, Food Safety, Fire Safety and COSHH legislation.
  6. Professionally and legally dealing with employee relations issues.
  7. Coordinating action for selling initiatives in each area of the business and monitoring effectiveness.
