Role Overview: As Finance Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the full financial function of the hotel, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight across all departments. This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic hospitality environment and is confident managing both day‑to‑day accounts and long‑term financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the hotel’s finance department, including budgeting, forecasting, and month‑end processes.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely production of management accounts.
  • Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and cost control across all operational areas.
  • Oversee payroll, invoicing, purchasing, and revenue reporting.
  • Work closely with department heads to support commercial decision‑making and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and internal controls.
  • Liaise with external auditors, banks, and central office.

About You: Fully qualified or part‑qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) preferred. Proven experience in a finance role, ideally within hospitality or a multi‑revenue‑stream business. Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and commercial awareness. Confident with financial systems and advanced Excel skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a proactive and solution‑focused approach. Able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and support a culture of excellence.
