We are seeking a motivated and reliable Chef to oversee and deliver our bistro menu service. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Head Chef and will be responsible for running the bistro menu independently, primarily serving golfers and bar guests.
This role requires strong organisational skills, the ability to work alone confidently, and a commitment to maintaining high food safety and presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food in line with the bistro menu specification
- Independently run and manage the bistro menu during service
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented to a consistent, high standard
- Accurately label and store all food items in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain full compliance with HACCP, allergen, and hygiene standards
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Head Chef
- Assist with prep and service for functions and events where required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times
- Follow direction from the Head Chef & Sous Chef and support wider kitchen operations
- Previous experience in a chef or line cook role
- Ability to work independently and manage service alone
- Strong understanding of food safety, allergen control, and labelling requirements
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to remain calm and efficient during busy service periods
- Flexible availability, including weekends and busy golf/event days
- Self-motivated and dependable
