Administration & Finance Assistant
Wycombe Heights Golf Centre

We're looking for a positive, organised and efficient Administration & Finance Assistant to join the team at Wycombe Heights Golf Centre.
This is a varied role where you'll work closely with the General Manager, supporting the day-to-day running of the business and helping ensure our administration and finance processes are accurate, efficient and well organised.
What you’ll be doing
No two days are quite the same. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the administration workflow and supporting the General Manager with the day-to-day running of the business.
- Preparing and accurately recording weekly and monthly payroll submissions.
- Producing accurate and timely weekly banking summaries.
- Supporting cost control, including processing and analysing purchase invoices.
- Managing and reconciling revenues, including Direct Debit, card and cheque payments.
- Maintaining confidential personnel files, including payroll and training records.
- Overseeing the systems used on site, ensuring information is accurate, current and up to date.
- Keeping documentation and records organised, accessible and up to date.
- Completing a variety of ad hoc administration and finance tasks as required.
- Ensuring key duties and deadlines are completed accurately and on time.
- Working closely with colleagues across the business and providing effective support to the wider management team.

- Confident using computers, with intermediate Excel skills.
- Comfortable working with numbers and financial information.
- Interested in learning, developing and building your skills.
- Efficient, accurate and able to work independently when required.
- Someone who wants to make a positive contribution to the business.
Experience & Qualifications
You’ll ideally have:
- Good GCSE education, including Maths and English.
- Previous administration and/or accounting experience.
- Good general computer literacy.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
