Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and physically fit individual to join our team as a Driving Range Ball Picker & Assistant. This part-time position is essential to the smooth operation of our busy, floodlit driving range. You’ll be responsible for collecting golf balls from the range each morning and assisting with the upkeep and maintenance of the facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the ball picking equipment to safely and efficiently collect golf balls from the range each morning.
- Transport and load collected balls into the ball cleaning and dispensing systems.
- Inspect and maintain ball picking machinery and range equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Assist with general maintenance tasks on the driving range (e.g., net checks, debris removal, equipment tidying).
- Ensure the range is clean, tidy, and safe for customers ahead of opening each day.
- Report any hazards, equipment faults, or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.
- Work independently and efficiently in early morning hours and varying weather conditions.
Requirements:
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks (lifting, walking, bending, etc.).
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred.
