Head Chef

As Head Chef, you will lead all aspects of the kitchen operation, delivering exceptional food quality, outstanding customer experiences, and commercial performance across both casual and function dining. Working closely with the General Manager & F&B Manager, you will develop and implement the food strategy for the club, ensuring menus, service standards, and operational processes align with business objectives and member expectations.

You will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, menu development, stock control, purchasing, budgeting, and compliance, while driving innovation and profitability throughout the kitchen operation. A key focus of the role is building and developing a high-performing kitchen team through effective leadership, coaching, recruitment, and performance management, ensuring all team members are supported to achieve their full potential.

The Head Chef will maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, health and safety, and operational excellence, ensuring full compliance with company policies and legislative requirements. You will proactively monitor financial performance, manage costs, maximise revenue opportunities, and contribute to the overall success of the club through strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring a passionate and commercially minded chef who can balance creativity with operational efficiency, foster strong relationships with members, guests, suppliers, and colleagues, and consistently deliver an outstanding dining experience that enhances the club’s reputation and profitability.
