Direct responsibility for the day-to-day management of the golf course and driving range maintenance department, facilities, equipment and employees. To improve and maintain the golf course and driving range outfield conditions to the highest possible standard utilizing all available resources. To motivate and lead the team to achieve the required standard. Always looks for opportunities to enhance the product and in turn increase revenue potential of the property. Manages costs within the agreed budgets.
KEY EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
Experience
- Experience as a Course Manager or Head Greenkeeper.
- Demonstrable in an environment relating to turf management.
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting and resource management.
- Experience working with reservoir water supply.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS.
- Desirable Level 4 qualification in turf management.
- Minimum requirement of level 3 qualification in turf management.
- PA1, PA2 and PA6 spraying certificates.
- The post holder will be required to complete a Basic DBS check.
