POSITION: Evening Cleaner
RESPONSIBLE TO: Health & Fitness Manager & Cleaning Supervisor
MAIN DUTIES: Female cleaner required to clean female changing room & deliver excellent customer services at all times to ensure customer satisfaction. To ensure all our facilities are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The job of a cleaner is to ensure that all the areas of the club assigned for cleaning are kept clean and hygienic.
- To complete all work as outlined in your daily cleaning schedule which includes but is not a full list:
- Maintains public restroom & changing room facilities, ensuring that restrooms are fully stocked, counter-tops are kept clean, waste receptacles are emptied as needed, and floors are kept in a safe and clean condition.
- Maintain changing room facilities ensuring showers, floors, lockers, countertops, are all kept clean and tidy, stock is replenished.
- Check on all poolside facilities including indoor & outdoor pool areas, clearing any rubbish and removal of excess water on floors, tidy and clean outdoor furniture and monitor members' behaviour ensuring all club rules are adhered to.
- Areas for cleaning will consist of reception, Health & Fitness Club, Driving Range, Kelvedon Suite and Golf changing facilities. All other help and support are restaurant and outdoor areas.
- Safely handle and store chemical substances and cleaning products and know how to properly dispose of waste.
- Work with electrical appliances (hoovers, wet vacs for example) and make sure they are safe to use and stored correctly.
- Keep up to date with BGL compliance training and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Work alongside and support work colleagues with shift cover and be flexible within your working hours.
- Create a positive and approachable impact on all our members and guests, greeting them with a hello or good morning/afternoon or evening.
WORKING CONDITIONS: You will be required to work afternoons and evenings. You will be working in some cold, hot and humid environments.
