Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer – Woking
VISION OF THE ROLE:
The Personal Trainer is responsible to delivering training services to members including Health Club Inductions, Programme reviews, Group Fitness Classes and Personal Training sessions. The Personal Training role is also responsible for supervision of the Health Club to ensure a high standard of operation and cleanliness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations and Service:
* Maintain positive and effective relationships with members and guests through an active presence in the Health Club, ensuring all customers and members receive a warm welcome and consistent high standard of service.
* To supervise all areas of the gym including reception, studio, gym floor and changing facilities in order to maintain a high standard of operation & cleanliness.
* To be responsible for the opening and closing of the Health and Fitness areas when on shift and undertake any duties required in the process.
* Maintain a presence on the gym floor, remaining approachable and visible at all times.
* To deal with customer enquiries/feedback and report to the Health Club Manager when appropriate.
* Consult new members on their health & fitness goals and design an appropriate program.
* Instruct members on equipment, ensuring they are exercising safely and effectively.
* To deliver gym inductions, provide training programs and scheduled program reviews to joiners, as appropriate.
* To deliver group fitness classes to Health Club members.
* To manage and deliver Personal Training to Health Club members.
* To report any maintenance issues to the Health Club Manager and seek to solve any problems where possible and appropriate.
* Ensure that Health and Safety procedures are complied with at all times.
* Ensure personal level of compliance within the BGL Academy is 100% at all times.
* Ensure all BGL procedures and policies are adhered to.
* Follows all company policies and procedures, e.g., attendance, timekeeping, dress code, name badge, appearance.
* Maintain a strong network with fellow Health and Fitness team members to support robust collaboration.
Membership Sales and Retention
* To deliver Health club tours and joining prospects as appropriate.
* To be responsible for the correct filling of membership forms and archiving of Gym leavers in line with GDPR guidelines.
* To ensure each Health Club joiner is put onto the membership system with personal, contact and payment details, as appropriate.
* To ensure that each joiner has POS Induction booking and Induction Appointment details recorded on the Induction report, as appropriate.
