Male Evening Cleaner - will be responsible for cleaning the male changing rooms.
POSITION: Evening Cleaner
RESPONSIBLE TO: Health & Fitness Manager & Cleaning Supervisor
MAIN DUTIES:
- The delivery of excellent customer services at all times to ensure customer satisfaction.
- To ensure all our facilities are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
- The job of a cleaner is to ensure that all the areas of the club assigned for cleaning are kept clean and hygienic.
- To complete all work as outlined in your daily cleaning schedule which includes but is not limited to:
- Maintaining public restroom & changing room facilities, ensuring that restrooms are fully stocked, kept clean, waste receptacles are emptied as needed, and floors are kept in a safe and clean condition.
- Maintaining male/family changing room facilities ensuring showers, floors, lockers, countertops are all kept clean and tidy, stock is replenished.
- Checking on all poolside facilities including indoor & outdoor pool areas, clearing any rubbish and removal of excess water on floors, tidying and cleaning outdoor furniture and monitoring members' behaviour ensuring all club rules are adhered to.
- Areas for cleaning will consist of reception, Health & Fitness Club, Driving Range, Kelvedon Suite and Golf changing facilities. All other help and support are for restaurant and outdoor areas.
- Safely handling and storing chemical substances and cleaning products and knowing how to properly dispose of waste.
- Working with electrical appliances (hoovers, wet vacs for example) and making sure they are safe to use and stored correctly.
- Keeping up to date with BGL compliance training and complying with company policies and procedures.
- Working alongside and supporting work colleagues with shift cover and being flexible within your working hours.
- Creating a positive and approachable impact on all our members and guests, greeting them with a hello or good morning/afternoon or evening.
Working Conditions:
- You will be required to work afternoons and evenings.
- You will be working in some cold, hot and humid environments.
