Position: Male Evening Cleaner – responsible for cleaning male changing rooms.
Reports to: Health & Fitness Manager & Cleaning Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all facilities are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
- Complete all work as outlined in the daily cleaning schedule.
- Maintain public restroom and changing room facilities: restrooms fully stocked, countertops clean, waste receptacles emptied, floors safe and clean.
- Maintain male/family changing rooms: showers, floors, lockers, and countertops clean and tidy; stock replenished.
- Check all poolside facilities – indoor and outdoor pool areas; clear rubbish, remove water from floors, tidy outdoor furniture; monitor member behaviour and enforce club rules.
- Clean reception, Health & Fitness Club, Driving Range, Kelvedon Suite, and golf changing facilities.
- Provide help and support in restaurant and outdoor areas.
- Safely handle and store chemical substances and cleaning products; properly dispose of waste.
- Use electrical appliances (hoovers, wet vacs) safely and store them correctly.
- Keep up to date with BGL compliance training and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Support work colleagues with shift cover and remain flexible with working hours.
- Create a positive and approachable impact on members and guests, greeting them warmly.
