The Burghley Estate is a diverse business based in Stamford, Lincolnshire. At the heart of the Estate is Burghley House, set within 1,500 acres of historic parkland. Business interests include Burghley House, Gardens and Adventure Play visitor attractions, a busy programme of public and private events including the world renowned 5* Defender Burghley Horse Trials, Burghley Park Golf Club and a significant property portfolio.

We’re looking for a Housekeeper to join our Domestic team working 2 days a week on Monday and Thursdays plus holiday and sickness cover that will involve some weekend working. The role involves working at both Burghley House and our high end holiday let.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning all public areas
  • Deep cleaning in the closed season
  • Cleaning office areas and meeting rooms
  • Cleaning our high end holiday let, including dusting, making beds and cleaning bathrooms
  • Covering holiday within the team, this will involve some weekend working
  • Sickness cover
Skills and Experience:
  • Good eye for detail and precision
  • Hard working and can self-motivate
  • Work well in a team and on own
  • Flexibility
  • A high standard of cleaning
  • Previous experience of housekeeping or cleaning is desirable; however, full training will be given.
  • A uniform will be provided.
