The Burghley Estate is a diverse business centred in the town of Stamford, Lincolnshire. The Estate extends to 12,000 acres, with a significant property portfolio, as well as an in-hand farm, sporting interests, an extensive events calendar, forestry enterprise and hospitality businesses. At the heart of the Estate is Burghley House, a Grade I listed Elizabethan stately home set within 1,500 acres of historic parkland.
We are seeking a skilled administrator with excellent IT skills to join our Land and Property Team. The team includes Surveyors, a Lettings Manager, the Building Services and Estate Maintenance team. The role will offer administrative support to the team to help them effectively deliver the day-to-day management of the Estates property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Administration support for the Land and Property team
- Assisting the Building Maintenance Team in reporting and triaging reported property maintenance issues using Fixflo software
- Administrative management of routine landlord and tenant events including booking residential, commercial and agricultural rent reviews, property inspections, lease renewals and end of tenancies
- Completion of all digital record keeping following these events
- Act as the main point of contact for incoming enquiries via telephone, email and in person, managing and directing queries as appropriate
- Carry out general Estate Office administrative duties, including internal post distribution, stationery management and fire alarm checks
- Management of both hard copy and electronic archive files
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to pick up new specialist systems quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a similar administrative role
- High level of attention to detail
Salary: £27 - 29k per annum
Full-time, permanent
37.5 hours per week
