As part of our continued growth, we're recruiting an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join our Conveyancing Department. If you're looking for a firm that combines high-quality legal work with a team that actually looks after you, this could be the role for you.
The Role
Our incoming Residential Conveyancer will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion. This role suits someone confident handling their own files with minimal supervision, while maintaining excellent standards of client care.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Handling remortgages and transfers of equity
- Dealing with shared ownership matters
- Working on registered and unregistered land
- Progressing files from instruction through to exchange, completion, and post-completion
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, developers, and other solicitors
- Providing regular updates and clear advice throughout the transaction
- Ensuring files are progressed efficiently and in line with required deadlines
- Handling new build transactions where applicable, including developer and lender requirements and tight exchange deadlines
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer
- Has solid residential conveyancing experience (ideally 2+ years of managing their own caseload)
- Has excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Can follow structured processes consistently and accurately
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills
- Is proactive and confident managing a high-volume workload
- Is comfortable using digital case management systems and technology
