Job Description

Practice Manager (Financial Services)

Location: Farnham / Guildford area (office based)

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 depending on experience

Working as part of the team at an Appointed Representative of St. James’s Place Plc.

An outstanding new opportunity has arisen for a Practice Manager within a highly successful SJP Partner Practice. You will be managing the operational needs of this busy practice.

The Role: Practice Manager (Financial Services)

  • Reporting to the Partner, as Practice Manager you will manage all operational aspects of the Practice on a daily basis
  • You will be managing the admin support team to effectively deal with all new business and client servicing requirements
  • You will oversee all the operational aspects of the business on a daily basis
  • This will include a review of current processes and where appropriate, introducing change within the business
  • Providing an outstanding level of service to your colleagues and clients will be of upmost importance to you, as a natural leader you will inspire this quality in your team
  • You will be responsible for managing and developing staff, as well as overseeing their training
  • You will be managing an HR system, responsible for the CRM systems and will provide Management Information to colleagues.

The Person: Practice Manager (Financial Services)

  • You will have previous experience in a similar role within an SJP Practice environment
  • You will have experience of managing and developing others
  • You will have a good understanding of how you can add value to this business, and you enjoy working as part of a team
  • You are used to using IT systems and have used Salesforce
  • You will be a confident professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate others. You have common sense, influencing skills and enjoy problem solving
