Technical Administrator Location: Cheltenham (GL50) Salary: Highly competitive with potential for 10% annual bonus, plus income protection, critical illness and death in service employee benefits Hours: Full time Working as part of the team at an Appointed Representative of St. Jamess Place Plc. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a professional and adaptable person to work within a St. Jamess Place Partner Practice which is based in Cheltenham town centre. You will be managing the work generated by a Partner and offering support as required in this people centric business. The Role : You will be working with the Partner in all aspects of office management including: Preparing letters, presentations and reports Preparing all documentation for the Partners meetings Ensuring client information is recorded accurately Dealing with third parties on a daily basis Client communications by telephone and email Managing the pipeline of business through the Practice. You have an initial period of training to learn new processes and skills which would provide you with a solid foundation for a career within a Financial Services Practice and you will have the opportunity to progress within the SJP Accreditation framework as well as professional qualifications. The Person: This is an interesting and challenging role that would suit a confident, numerate, highly organised and professional individual who enjoys using their initiative and who has a can do working style. You have exceptional communication skills – both verbal and written An excellent eye for detail and good IT skills Strong problem-solving skills You are a self-starter and able to work with little or no supervision You are reliable with proven office management, administrative or personal assistant experience You will have contact with clients, and it is essential that you are confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion It is essential that you have worked in an administration, Financial Services or professional service environment or have a financial background.
