Care Assistant/Support Worker - preferably based locally
Burgh Heath Lodge is a small, homely residential care home near Epsom town centre. We support nine elderly residents with mental health and learning disability needs.
Purpose: Care assistant / support worker to provide personal care, support, and assistance to all residents, recognising their individuality and independence. To support the manager in the running of Burgh Heath Lodge.
Covid safe: Staff are provided PPE, covid training, and are regularly covid tested.

Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure care is delivered respectfully, maintaining residents\' privacy, dignity, and rights.
- Assist residents to remain as independent as possible and exercise their choices.
- Support residents with personal, social, and psychological care.
- Maintain clear and accurate records and foster good relationships with colleagues, clients, peers, and relatives.
- Participate in regular supervisory sessions.
- Adhere to Policies and Procedures (see policies and procedures folder in the office).
Day-to-Day Tasks:
- Assist residents with washing, showering, bathing, dressing, medication, eating, drinking, mobility, and other personal care as needed.
- Help keep residents\' rooms clean: vacuuming, dusting, tidying, laundry, ironing, bed making, and general household duties.
- Prepare meals, snacks, and refreshments as necessary.
- Perform duties diligently, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
