We are looking for a Goods In and Out Operative! Do you have experience of being a Goods In and Out Operative or FLT Driver? Or would like the opportunity to learn these new skills? Are you a positive and motivated communicator who strives in meeting and exceeding targets? At our Production site based in Isleham, Cambridgeshire we are looking for a diligent, self-motivated team player who can exceed in their duties to help us retain our position as a leading conventional roots supplier in the UK. You will join us on a full-time permanent contract. Your main working pattern will be a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 12:00pm to 00:00am.
Responsibility
The Job Role Reporting directly to the Goods In and Out Manager you will play a key role in ensuring product is dispatched, safely, correctly and in a timely manner. The responsibilities of the role include:
- Communicate with hauliers and internal customers.
- Unloading and intake of raw material.
- Ensure all customer orders are picked with 100% accuracy.
- Ensure all vehicles are loaded in full and on time.
- Enter all required information into Navision with 100% accuracy.
- Ensure that correct dated product is loaded and only roll back on the agreement of the Planning Team.
- Report any faults on MHE and/or shunter immediately to your Manager and/or Engineering manager/Engineer in your Manager's absence.
- Report all accidents and near misses immediately to your Manager/HSE Manager. This MUST be followed up with a near miss/accident report.
- Ensure cleanliness at all times in the loading/finished goods cold store, office and perimeter.
- Support the production and yard forklift drivers with their duties when required.
- Assist in emptying trailers with trays and pallets.

- Valid FLT licence (shunter + PPT licence also preferable – training can be provided)
- Previous experience of working in a production/warehousing environment
- An ability to show initiative and to work collaboratively with others across the business.
- Ability to identify different products and pick required amounts toward customer orders
- Ability to use a handheld scanner.
