At our Production site based in Isleham, Cambridgeshire, we are looking for a diligent, self-motivated team player who can exceed in their duties to help us retain our position as a leading conventional roots supplier in the UK. You will join us on a full-time permanent contract. Your main working pattern will be a panama shift pattern working 05:30 to 17:30.

Responsibility

The Job Role:

  • Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that we meet quality standards and complete all customers' orders on time.
  • Act as the on-site MHE Instructor, delivering MHE and job-specific training to all operators.
  • Maintain and manage training matrixes, coordinating all training activities across the site.
  • Supervise drivers and provide support in resolving daily operational challenges.
  • Conduct incident investigations and proactively identify and implement safety improvements.
  • Support recruitment activities, onboarding processes, and probation reviews.
  • Carry out new driver assessments and provide ongoing mentoring and coaching.
  • Provide cover for other roles within the team as required.
What we are looking for:
  • Valid FLT licence (shunter + PPT licence also preferable – training can be provided).
  • At least 2 years of proven experience operating FLTs, with knowledge of safe operating practices.
  • Confident in delivering practical and classroom-based training, with the ability to mentor new and existing operators and assess competency levels.
  • Clear and effective communicator, able to engage with team members at all levels and provide constructive feedback.
  • Basic IT skills, including the ability to manage training matrixes, reports, and operational systems.
