The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
The role is a permanent, full-time position based in our Clapham Common or Liverpool Street office, with hybrid working, competitive salary and benefits.
If successful, you will join a well-established team of specialist family solicitors and partners. You will be responsible for ensuring your cases are progressed on a day-to-day basis. You will be expected to display leadership skills by mentoring more junior solicitors and paralegals and by being a role model at our firm, both in your approach to work and your interactions with colleagues. In addition to client work, the successful candidate will take on internal projects which promote or progress our firm’s commercial aims. You will be building a reputation within the family law world and thinking about what specialisms to develop and how to ‘market’ these within our firm and outside.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the Partner or Legal Director to provide the highest levels of service to our clients.
- Have control of and independently progress cases.
- Have a commercial understanding of costs and manage costs estimates and clients’ expectations.
- Actively care for relationships and continue to use targeted business development opportunities to build new relationships with a view to receiving referrals.
- Clearly demonstrate leadership skills by being a role model in the firm.
- Positively contribute to our culture and business objectives and forge positive working relationships with colleagues.
- Be a member of Resolution and actively participate in the YRes community.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT:
The successful candidate will have a good academic track record and 5+ years PQE as a specialist family solicitor. We are looking for proactive candidates with drive and enthusiasm. The successful candidate should be able to manage their workload and prioritise effectively. The firm holds itself to high standards and candidates applying for this position should work with the same ethos.
