This position is based at Burgess Hill Golf Centre - Golf & Designer Clothing Store, which is situated on the outskirts of Burgess Hill. We are a dedicated family run business.

Your Job Role:

  • Full Time: 35-40 hours per week / Part Time: 15-30 hours per week
  • Knowledge & selling of designer clothing & golf equipment.
  • Advising customers on golf equipment.
  • Customer service role serving & taking payments from our customers using the driving range, golf course & academy facilities.
  • Taking payment for golf & designer wear store sales.
  • Booking appointments.
  • Handling cash, closing & locking up of premises.

Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for all sales job duties, from generating leads to closing sales.
  • Work closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products & recommend the right solutions.
  • Promptly resolve customer complaints & ensure maximum client satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date with product features & maintain our stores visual appearance in high standards.
  • Achieve excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals.
  • Follow & achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, & yearly basis.
  • To order new stock & handle returns of merchandise.
  • Stock control & levels & comply with inventory control procedures.
  • Suggest ways to improve sales going forward.

Qualities Required:

  • Ability to perform under pressure & address complaints in a timely manner.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts.
  • High school degree; BS degree in Marketing or related field would be a plus.
  • Confident & enthusiastic about working in customer service.
  • Reliable & driven.
