Salary Range: Qualified rate is £14.77 per hour which is range between £26,880 pa for 35 hours per week or £30,721 pa if working 40 hours per week.

The Role
- Support the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of children aged 2½–4 years.
- Plan and deliver stimulating, inclusive activities that spark curiosity.
- Act as a keyworker, assessing and recording progress using Tapestry and other systems.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
- Help maintain a safe, well-presented learning environment.
- Work closely with colleagues to prepare activities, support routines and contribute to a warm, positive team culture.
About You
- Qualified at Level 2 or above in childcare (Level 3 DfE‑approved qualification desirable).
- Knowledgeable about the EYFS, safeguarding and Health & Safety.
- Experienced in working with preschool-aged children.
- Warm, enthusiastic and committed to high‑quality early years practice.
- A strong communicator who builds trusting relationships.
- A proactive team player, happy to get involved indoors and outdoors.

Additional Information
Our Nursery operates 8.00am–6.00pm, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks a year. Practitioners work either an 8-hour or 9-hour shift (with a 1‑hour lunch break), typically 8am–4/5pm or 9/10am–6pm. Occasional rota cover between 7.30am and 6.30pm may be required. Outdoor learning is integral to our approach, and we are set in stunning grounds that support this ethos. We are seeking someone who shares this commitment and enjoys working as part of an experienced, supportive team.
