We are recruiting a Commercial and Compliance Consultant to join one of our clients' in-house legal teams, where you will advise on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters.

About the Team

You will join a well-regarded in-house legal team that works in close partnership with colleagues across the business, providing practical, commercially focused advice on day-to-day operations as well as longer-term strategic initiatives. The team supports a varied workload across commercial contracting, governance, compliance and risk, and plays an important role in helping the business move forward with confidence.

As a Commercial and Compliance Consultant, you will work alongside legal, compliance and operational stakeholders, balancing legal risk with commercial priorities and bringing clear, pragmatic thinking to complex issues. This is an opportunity to build trusted relationships, take ownership of meaningful work and develop your experience in a role that offers both variety and visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, draft and negotiate a range of commercial agreements and business-facing documents.
  • Provide practical advice on compliance, governance and risk matters, helping the business operate in line with internal standards and external requirements.
  • Support the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of policies, processes and controls.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across legal, commercial and operational teams to provide clear, solutions-focused advice.
