We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team, supporting Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and providing valuable insight to teams across the firm. Working closely with our Finance Business Partners, you'll use data to help colleagues understand financial performance, identify trends and make informed commercial decisions. You will contribute to management information, budgeting and forecasting, client reporting and pricing activity, gaining broad exposure across Commercial Finance. What you'll be doingProducing financial analysis, management information and performance reportingSupporting budgeting, forecasting and business planning processesIdentifying trends, variances and opportunities through data analysis and modellingDelivering accurate client reporting and meeting key deadlinesWorking closely with stakeholders across the firm to provide insight and support decision-makingIdentifying opportunities to improve reporting, processes and the use of technology What we're looking forStrong analytical skills and attention to detailAdvanced Excel skills, including working with large datasetsExperience producing and presenting financial informationA proactive, curious approach and a desire to learnStrong communication skillsThe ability to build positive working relationships across teams It would be great if you also haveExperience with Power BI, SQL or other reporting toolsProgress towards a professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or ACAExperience within a legal or professional services environmentWhy Burges Salmon?
